Allowance Authorizations in eComm

This guide walks you through how to create an Allowance Authorization within your project in eComm—setting the allowance amount, linking it to the correct contract or contingency, entering description, and submitting it for approval.

Steps:

  • Navigate to your project in eComm and go to the Contracts / Allowances / Contingencies section.

  • Click the option to Create New Allowance Authorization (or similar).

  • Enter a clear Description of what the allowance covers.

  • Choose the Related Contract or Allowance the authorization will apply to.

  • Select the Contractor / Party responsible if required.

  • Enter the Estimated Amount or Value of the allowance authorization.

  • Specify any Required On-Site Date or Lead Time if applicable.

  • Attach any necessary supporting documents (quotes, specs, drawings).

  • Review all entries for accuracy.

  • Click Save or Create to finalize the allowance authorization record.
