The eComm 2.3.2.1022 release includes updates for .NET Core, project filtering, Daily Reports, email design, project notifications, photo thumbnails, copying items, specification section formatting, and forms with replaceable content.
What’s New in eComm 2.3.2.1022
.NET Core Update
System updates have been made to allow for future flexibility in design.
As a result, the contact management experience has been updated so that managing contacts is now handled on one contacts page.
Projects is no longer available in the Control Panel.
Toggle of Capital and Non-Capital Projects
A toggle for Capital and Non-Capital projects is now available on the My Projects page.
Daily Reports
Daily Reports have been updated with a new design.
Daily Reports can be turned on for projects from the Edit Projects page.
Project roles can be selected to determine who has access to Daily Reports.
Weather is recorded three times per day based on the zip code entered in Project Location.
An additional export feature has been added to create a bookmarked PDF of reports with thumbnails.
New Email Redesign
The email redesign has been updated.
New Project Notifications Redesign
Project Notifications have been redesigned.
Project notifications are located under My Profile.
New options make it easier to manage project email notices.
Photo Thumbnails
Photo thumbnails are now available on Item Logs and in Daily Reports.
When clicking thumbnails, the photos open into a gallery that can be scrolled and easily viewed.
Copying Item Update – Delete Signature Option
When copying an item, the option to Delete Signatures is now available.
This can be used to remove signatures from an item when those signatures may not apply to other projects.
Spec Section Digits
Specification sections can now support six digits plus an optional decimal and two additional digits.
Supported format:
xxxxx.xx
When this option is selected in Edit Projects, a submittal spec section can be either:
- Six digits
- Six digits plus decimal and two digits
Forms with Replaceable Content
Forms, including XLS and HTM files, can now be added with replaceable content from Project and Item attributes.
On the Item Template page, users can add either file format with replaceable fields such as:
- [Project Name]
- [Description]
The content is automatically inserted into the form.
The file will automatically attach to the item once created.
This information updates as the item moves through the workflow.
HTM documents automatically save as a PDF upon item creation.
