The eComm 2.3.2.1044 release includes updates for My Projects sorting, project template workflow steps, contact management, HEIC file viewing, item log filtering, mobile plan/specification uploads, project settings navigation, copying items across projects, searchable dropdowns, and required processor selection.

What’s New in eComm 2.3.2.1044

My Projects Page

When sorting projects on the My Projects page, the last sort will now save during the session when returning to the page.

Deleting Steps in Project Templates and Cascading to Open Items

Workflow step updates in a parent project template can now cascade to open child items.

To add a step to child items:

  1. Add a step as usual.
  2. Click the step.
  3. Add required signatures and any other required information.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the right section.
  5. Click the new Copy link.

To delete a step from child items:

  1. Delete the step as usual.
  2. Select the new checkbox related to child items.

Note: If the workflow of a child item is updated through Manage Workflow, the steps will not cascade properly.

Add Contacts

Contact management has been updated based on whether Manage Contacts is enabled for the user.

When Manage Contacts is enabled, the user can add existing and new contacts to the project.

To add contacts:

  1. Click Add Contacts to Project.
  2. Type the email address or company name.
  3. Select the contact.
  4. Add first name and last name.
  5. Select the role.

Role options are based on the roles typically assigned to the company. If the user is new, all roles will display.

When Manage Contacts is turned off, users can add contacts from their own company by clicking Invite+ from the Contacts page.

To invite a contact:

  1. Provide a single email address.
  2. Add first name and last name.
  3. Choose the role.

The role will suggest the role associated with the company. If more than one role exists, such as Design Team and Consultant, both will display so the user can choose one.

.HEIC Files

.HEIC files are now viewable in eComm.

.HEIC thumbnails are also now supported.

Item Log Filter

Item log filters now account for:

  • Ball in court
  • Step aliases
  • Status aliases
  • Date ranges for date values

Browse Button Added to Plans and Specifications

A Browse button has been added when adding Plans and Specifications.

This supports adding plans from a mobile device.

Project Settings Menu

All menu options are now available on corresponding project settings menus, enabling easier navigation.

Copy Items Across Multiple Projects

When copying items across projects, the process flow can now be updated in open items by checking:

Add Process Steps to Child Items When Step Is Added, and Delete Process Steps of Child Items When Step Is Deleted

Dropdown Options with Multiple Checkboxes

Dropdown menus with multiple checkboxes and long lists are now searchable.

This makes it easier to add options without navigating through long lists.

Save Button

The Save and Submit button now updates appropriately when selecting required processors.
